The congress was honored to welcome Mr. Nguyen Van Phuong, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Mr. Tran Phong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, and Chairman of the Provincial Emulation and Commendation Council; together with members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, leaders of departments, agencies, and localities, as well as exemplary collectives and individuals representing the patriotic emulation movement during the 2020-2025 period.

In his opening speech, Mr. Tran Phong, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, affirmed that the patriotic emulation movement has become a major driving force contributing to the province’s comprehensive achievements in recent years. He launched the 2025-2030 Patriotic Emulation Movement under the theme “Solidarity - Creativity - Determination - Sustainable Development,” calling on all officials, Party members, civil servants, public employees, and citizens to uphold unity and strive to successfully accomplish the province’s socio-economic development goals.

Delivering his directive speech, Mr. Nguyen Van Phuong, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, praised the remarkable results achieved by the patriotic emulation movement in recent years. He also emphasized the need to renew the content and methods of emulation activities, ensuring close alignment with the province’s key political tasks, especially green economic development, digital transformation, international integration, and improving people’s livelihoods.

At the Congress, many collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements were honored and commended.

Mr. Tran Ngoc Lan, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Party Secretary, and Director of the Department of Foreign Affairs, was honored to receive the Second-Class Labor Order from the President of Vietnam for his remarkable accomplishments throughout his career. In particular, during his tenure as Director of the Department of Science and Technology of Quang Tri Province, he made significant contributions to research, innovation, and the application of science and technology in service of the province’s socio-economic development.

The First Quang Tri Provincial Patriotic Emulation Congress concluded in an atmosphere of unity and confidence, strongly inspiring the spirit of innovation, creativity, and aspiration for progress. The event marked a new driving force for Quang Tri’s rapid and sustainable development, positioning the province as a shining example of patriotic emulation in Central Vietnam.
